Ideally located in the vicinity of the Petrusse valley park, the city centre and the train station, the Le Chatelet Hotel is well suited such that guests can visit some of the nearby attractions like The Grand Ducal Palace, The Grand-Duc Jean Modern Art Museum, Valley of the Seven Castles, The Moselle Valley, National Museum of Art and History and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Location is very convenient, staff really kind, but facilities missing; the hotel has no restaurant, but they can provide sandwiches or pizza and bring them to your room (the pizza was really bad, didn't dare to try the sandwiches). When they clean your room, they bring the heater to the minimum, so when you come back in the afternoon, you freeze. You pay what you get.

we booked a "de luxe room" which was not deluxe at all. Very simple en old furnish. Not in the hotel it self but in a building next to hotel. other rooms and stairway were very loudly.

One to avoid! Rude receptionist; very unhelpful. Room modestly furnished and more fit for a one-star hotel; no lift, have to hand carry luggage up the stairs, which are narrow and steep, no one at hotel will help carry the luggage; climb not suited for persons in wheelchairs, or those unable to carry heavy loads. Hotel parking is small and narrow; not suited for large vehicles; additionally, there is not enough parking space for all hotel guests, so you might not have a space for your car once you get there, and parking in the street is almost impossible.

Nice functional and quite cosy rooms with wooden floor. Very large clean bathroom with nice bath. Quiet neighbourhood, yet central. Good base to visit Luxembourg. Free internet and affordable price. I would recommend it.
