Good location, room clean and reasonable, but the sound insolation is not good, plus the construction noise outside

I have been staying here for over 2 years on my constant visits to Guangzhou. I enjoy the short walk to Beijing Street shops, etc. Will stay again!!!!

The hotel doubles as the terminus for at least two bus lines running from Zhuhai (over the biorder from Macau) so is extremely handy. The rooms and beds are comfortable and clean. It is within reasonable walking distance of Beijing Lu which is one of the two big walking (shopping) streets. Also close to the riverside so handy for NIGHT boat tours (dont bother with day tours). Toss up between this and Holiday Inn Shifu (another excellent place) which is on the other walking street but not as handy to transport..

Overall staffs were helpful except for the counter duty staff serving my checking in on 1 March @ 4.30am, we have booked our room online but were told our rooms were given up as we checked in @4,30am. After arguing furiously and were adament of getting our room, that we were given a RESERVED ROOM @5am. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. The online booking agent ought to give us a good explanation or compensation.

This Hotel is beside Metro station and is very convenient to reach Beijing Road Pedestrian Shopping Street and the airport. Rooms are clean have good reasonable western breakfast.
