4 out of 5

We booked this hotel based on a friends recommendation. We were very happy with our stay and it is in a great location to explore Hong Kong and to easily connect with the MTR (underground). An easy walk from the hotel to hundreds of bars and restaurants and the fascinating local markets. We chose to have breakfast outside as there are just so many great breakfast places nearby. The staff are universally great, very helpful no matter the request and all eager to help.

This is a good hotel to stay comfortably and safely. Although the landscape of the hotel is not convenient to the old people. Besides, next to the hotel, it's one of the famous dim sum restaurant - Lin Heung Lau which has the authetic food and setting.

Fantastic location, just on the edge of Sheung Wan still convenient to Central. Those of you who want to go everywhere by cab will have a bit of a tough time since it's an alley at the end of a one-way maze, but it's a walker's paradise into Central and the street markets. Nice, tiny rooms. Service at the desk is awful, officious, and aggressive (so authentically Hong Kong!). All views are great as long as you above, say, the 20th floor.

My overall experience at this hotel was good. I had stayed at the InterContinental across the harbor a few times. The rooms are much smaller, not comfortable for more than 1 maybe 2 people, but considerably better location. Especially for someone who wants to go out and have fun. Other than that i have no complaints.

The hotel is quite good to take ferries to Macau and Kowloon. It is only 10 minutes walking to ferries and Central Station. It is longer but still Ok walking distance to The Peak. But for the same price you can have better hotels in Kowloon Area near shopping. The area is simply OK. Internet was expensive and really slow. Hong Kong train is so good that you must consider to stay in Kowloon better. People in the check in were really nice and kind. Rooms very good but small, something not very important for sleeping if you stay only in hotel at night

Rooms very small, when traveling with yr wife book bigger room or other htl. Beds are very small too, and I'm only 1.80mtr. But it is reasonable clean (just tell them to change shower curtain as this might be sometimes bit smelly) and the location makes up for it all. Few minutes walk to the bars & restaurants of LKF and Soho.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room had a nice atmosphere and interesting decorations. The location was excellent, in the heart of the Central District. The internet was the usual hotel rip off.

If you want harbour view make sure to get a room a least on the 30th floor. below, the view will be mostly blocked by surrounding buildings.

The room was beautiful. A touch small but useable. Nowhere to plug in the kettle. Housekeeping was a bit slack. They did not check for supplies in the morning, we had used the two coffee and sugar sachets provided and did run out of toilet paper. They actually sent someone up to check the mini bar after I assured them that it had been untouched! Free shuttle did not operate until 7am. But I did love the place.

Great location , really a special part of HK in Central. Rooms are small but do the job. Do not expect a "big name" hotel , its a local hotel with a cool vibe. I would stay at this hotel again and recomend to others.

I have been waiting for a hotel to open in this area for some time. The LKF hotel is a new hotel in the 'trendy' area of HK with lots of western style restaurants, bars and boutique stores. The hotel promotes itself as a 'boutique' style hotel. The rooms were nice, if small, but this is normal in HK. In this area you can find all the facilities you need if you are a western tourist or business traveller. The restaurant/breakfast facilities are very limited and I found it better to go down to the nearest Delifrance. Unfortunately, in view of its location, the hotel is also used as a base for local prostitiutes . The first night I was kept awake by the constant banging of doors and voices. Despite several requests to them to keep the noise down and calling reception twice, it took some time before things quietened down. ISo I would recommend this hotel if you like to be in a happening area but hope they sort out their brothel problem.

It is small hotel but very nice, few steps away from SoHo, a lot of bars-restaurants very nearby with locals, less then 3min walk. It is 4star due to its limited space I guess, htl is modern, rooms are clean, bit Zen. Rooms are small but adequate for 1 person. For one or two nights it is good for leisure, but for real business travel for me I would go to Intercon etc, as rooms bigger, lobby etc. U need more space when on real bizz travel. But I will cetainly will visit again for overnight stays when alone, think average price is abt hkg1200's (out of fair) which is value for money in overall. It's surely a 4star which you may not compare to let's say; Kimberley, Miramar, kowloon htl etc. Lang Kwai Fong htl is better then that. And it surrounding area is very interesting and lively.

The location was great as it was just a 5 minute walk from the main Lan Kwai Fong strip. Close to the mid-levels escalator to take you to Soho and walking distance to the Central MTR station and Macau ferry terminal.
