Laforet is a great hotel, nice and clean and close to the station. Staff is very helpful.

This is a fantastic location for exploring Japan by rail. It appears expensive but with breakfast included it is worth every yen. It is clean, comfortable and staff couldn't be more helpful. There are no porters but Laforet staff help you take luggage to station. Just ask. Only drawback is distance from restaurants. This is balenced by the many convenient eateries within the railway station itself.
