FIRST OFF WHEN WE CHECKED IN AND ARRIVED IN OUR ROOM THERE WAS NO CENTRAL AIR IN FLORIDA. NO TOILET PAPER OR TOWELS. OK SECOND THERE WERE BUGS EVERYWHERE WE INFORMED THE STAFF AND THEY REPEATEDLY SAID THEY WOULD SPRAY. THIS IS AFTER WE WENT TO THE FRONT OFFICE SEVERAL TIMES. MIND YOU IMMEDIATELY AFTER CHECK IN. NEXT WE LEFT AND CAME BACK STILL THERE WERE BUGS. CLIMBING IN THE BED, MY LAPTOP SCREEN, KITCHEN AND EVERY TABLE IN THE ROOM. THE NIGHT MANAGER WAS A STALKER AND WATCHING US WHILE WE WERE IN THE POOL. UGGGHHH DID WE SLEEP WELL NO! STILL TIRED ALL THE MANAGER SAID WAS IF WE COME BACK HE WILL GIVE US 50% OFF UMMM NO WE ARE OK AND WE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE LONG STORY SHORT WE WERE NOT SATISFIED AND DID NOT ENJOY OUR STAY AT THIS PLACE

I can not believe some of the other reviews on the Lafayette Motel. The location is great, all of the personnel are friendly, and the rooms are spacious and clean. It is not a five star hotel, but what you get is a four star hotel at two star prices. Should I ever return to Fort Lauderdale again, I will look into staying at the Lafayette Motel for sure!

Staff very friendly and accomodating. Doorways to outside have large gaps and need to be sealed. Roomservice good. Decent place for price.
