The hotel is situated amidst the bustle of Sicilian street life, but is itself quiet, and comfortable. Rooms seem to have own cooking facilities. Staff were welcoming and very helpful in providing both an early start to catch a flight from the airport, for which it is conveniently located, and secure parking for our car. The hotel has no restaurant, but the adjacent ones looking onto the Norman castle offer exceptional value for money.

The staff was super, helping me with driving directions, personal insights into places to go all over Sicily, even sharing a staff Christmas breakfast with me. Highly recommended.

Well, what else can I say.The hotel was fantastic,much much better than we had expected and the staff were very polite and helpfull. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.We knew some friends that were staying at another hotel in the area who paid the same price as we did. All of our friends whished that they had booked with the Residence Hotel La Vetreria Catania. I WILL be staying here again.

I have seldom stayed in a hotel as good as this one. The facilities were excellent and the staff sympathetic and professional. Value for money was excellent too. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
