We just slept and had breakfast. In general entire building needed better maintanance and we did not like location -in the middle of city. In general we did not like city.

was within 15 miles of beach and state park and other fun stuff to do. we went on the sea screamer boat ride very fun and informative. seen dolphins up close. captain [...]a young man but did a great job as well as firs mate [...].Towels were hard to come by.

We came down for vacation and it rained just about the whole time we were there, but that's the weather for ya. We had a good time in spite of the weather. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful, although it did take us a while to check in, even though it says on line check-in time is 1:00PM. We checked in about 2:30PM. The elevator at the front entrance for access to the rooms was out and so we walked the stairs to the room. No big problem as we were on the 2nd floor. All in all, price vs quality averaged out. Great pool and sauna!

The hotel and room were comfortable. That is what we needed while we were there in Panama City to attend the funeral of my Aunt, my mothers' sister. We needed the comfort to help us get through the sad time we had to experience. We usually stay at the Berst Western right arcross the street however, they were full and could not accomodate us. In looking around the area we decided to stay at LaQuinta. The only thing I would say is that I would appreciate a credit on my card, as we checked out early. My mother could not stand her grief any longer and we needed to leave and return home one day earlier. I appreciate the service booking the hotel as we could not think to well at the time. I would stay at the hotel again, but would try to book through the hotel itself so that we could receive credit for the early departure.
