Stayed at La Quinta East overnight following a late arrival into MIA. Had read a few reviews that were less than flattering but we experienced nothing but exceptionally polite, and professional staff from the shuttle bus driver to the reception staff on arrival and the same on deaprture the following day. Breakfast was very good with a good range of options. Good quality for money in our view.

Read some of the reviews and noted some "negative" comments. We found all the staff we dealt with extremley professional, curtious and helpful. Room was clean and well appointed and the breakfast very plentiful. Would definately stay again.

When we arrived the only room they had was smoking (we had requested non smoking). We had also requested a roll in bed for our daughter but, none were available . Well, the Front desk was nice enough to find us a non-smoking room but, we never got a bed for our daughter. She wound up sleeping on the floor.

The staff of LaQuinta went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They even made several photocopies for me and did not charge me! The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Free parking. On the negative side, the hotel is vaguely entering the realm of shabby. It may be time for a face lift.

In business travelling all I need is a clean and quiet hotel. La Quinta provides both for less $$.
