Stopover during a longer trip. We asked for "non-smoking", but the our non-smoking room was on a smoking floor, and the tobacco stench was so strong, my clothes smelled of smoke just from walking down the hallway. Smoke smell got into our room every time we opened the door. We told the desk clerk who offered no remedy- just asked us not to blame him!

Our front desk young man was so friendly and helpful. He could work at a five star hotel. The hotel looks practically new. Everything was spotless. Fantastic deal for the price.

The room was very well designed, great amenities and very clean. Our stay was only one night, but it prompted us to stay at other LaQuinta properties in other cities on the remainder of our western trip.

It was clean, very friendly staff and easy access to major roadways making it easier to get around town. Only major problem was one of two elevators went out of service for one morning.
