This hotel is very near the central station it takes you about 10 minutes to go there. The train from the airport takes 5 minutes to the central station. The room is OK there is only one negative thing and that is that there are no drawers to put your stuff in and only a few hangers. The breakfast is very rich and you get everything like yougart, egg and bacon. It takes you about 25 minutes to walk to the leaning tower. I highly recommend this hotel. I also saw that they are renovating some rooms and saw a nice toilet in black and white so maybe next time I go there I will have a newly renovated room.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, with just the exception of the older guy with the large white beard clearing the breakfast tables, who just glared at the guests and muttered under his breath to them. which was a shame because he let down down a very good team. The hotel is a bit old style and we found the bedding a little hard. But the rooms were a decent size, although the shower in the first room we had was the smallest I've ever seen. We had no problem moving to another room, because the air-con wasn't working properly in the first one. There's a huge choice for breakfast, in fact it's hard to think of anything that wasn't available. The hotel is very close to the railway station and only 10 minutes drive to the airport and is ideal for a short stopover. A pleasant half hour stroll through the city brings you to the Leaning Tower, which is well worth a visit, 15 euro's to walk the 298 steps to the top. There are plenty of good tourist restaurants near the tower, that because of the local competition are reasonably priced. If you want to eat nearer to the hotel you'd be well advised to ask for recommendations from the hotel reception, as there are some excellent nearby restaurants, but also some not so good and over priced. We can't praise the staff highly enough (except white beard man) and for that reason we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Good location for tours to other cities in the area, e.g. Firenze, Lucca and Cinque Terre. Only 2-3 mins walk to railstation. Very helpful Reception.
