La Casa Di Amy Bed & Breakfast Rome Guest Reviews (3)
The Reception is professional but one of the staff servicing has little concept that some times the customer can also be right. The TV did not work and there was no uniform reason between the staff. The alarm clock did not work and it was attributed to ignorance of the customer. The shower area was impossibly small even for average size, the fittings fiddly. The breakfast was fairly decent. Unlikely to use it again for its price/facilty equation.

This small hotel provided everything we needed for a 4 day break in Rome. Close to the terminus (bus, tram, train and tube) it was easy to get anywhere. Reception was just to the right of the hotel entrance Entry to the hotel was through a locked gate and to each of the individual clusters of rooms through another locked door. The room had a fridge and coffee making facilities. There was a small television (but no English channels). The most important item, especially during the summer months, was an individually controlled air conditioning unit. The bed was comfortable being a Queen made up of two singles. The clothes storage was plentiful for our needs. The bath room had a shower (which worked well) but no bath, a bidet and toilet and an unusually well lit mirror. Breakfast was continental buffet and was sufficiently varied to suit most people. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. By Rome standards, a very good place to stay. We shall return.

I stayed in an annex, which was fine for facilities and only 100m from the main hotel: but I missed having general facilities around, a lobby-like place to lounge about and relax. The room was a room, just that, and unless you were asleep there was nowhere to go but out.
