L'Empire Hotel Paris Guest Reviews
Expensive but Excellent Hotel right by the Louvre. Easy walking distance to a lot of sites and just as easy access to Metro. Good restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Skip the expensive B&B option and have a cafe and croissant at a nearby cafe.

A refreshing change in Paris. First room very noisy (first floor on the street definitely needs double glazing!) but were changed second night to a lovely room. My personal issue was the ridiculous 1,000 channels boast. They may have 1,000 channels, but they don't know what they are! I also went through ALL looking for English language movie or anything, and found about 200 porn channels, 200 Arab channels and ridiculous ones like Real Madrid TV. The only actual English language ones were CNN and BBC World, hopeless!
