The hotel is located just a few steps from the Duomo, near Santa Maria Novella train station and is a 5-minute walk from Fortezza da Basso, where important international conventions and trade shows are held. This property is an excellent starting point for walking to all of the most interesting spots of the city.

I was very pleased in every aspect regarding this hotel and it's in a fantastic location, close to everything. If I was to be picky, the only thing that could do with improvement, would be the beds, the mattress was very hard and I actually like a firm mattress, but I found the mattress and the pillows too hard. However, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and I would stay there again.

Very pleased with the Kursaal & Ausonia. The only negative thing I have to say about the hotel is the "Kursaal" portion of the sign isn't lit at night. Awesome hot beverage machine for the mornings! Very friendly staff. Ask them to help you book at the Accademia and Uffizi as early as possible. ciao bella!

This hotel is well located near the train station, though on a very busy road so you'd be best to ask for a room which doesn't face the street. The decor is a little tired but it was clean and safe and a good breakfast was provided.

The staff members were all very sweet, however the owners were irritating, every time they were around there was dispute coming up, payment related issues in particular, such as not accepting credit card payments for services charges and requiring cash payment. The Laundry charge was 10 euros, when I asked him to add on the invoice he said it should be paid by cash otherwise he would charge me 20 euros on the invoice. The heating was not working we freezed every night and morning. But the price and cleanness would be valued as strong points compared to the average hotel in Italy. If I had only 90 euros I would go there again.

Seemed to be hard to find but the car park underground is 100mtr away.Very nice inside.Helpful staff and breakfast was basic providing toast and cake just not varied. Is in an ideal position to wander and would stay here again.
