Too big for nothing, you have to walk a lot. The room was smelling humidity. A stupid system to take towels, they give you a card and if you loose it they ask 50$ for the card. Parking is no free.

Paid for an oceanview and found out upon arrival that very limited oceanfront was for timeshare. Very poor communication with staff except the concierge, Marilu. Food was horrible but went to the Malecon every night for outstanding restaurants. Same old palapa rules: up at 7am every morning to grab our place even though this did not guarantee our spot. On two different days had Mexican familys literally " snug" up to our spot to grab some shade almost sitting on top of us. Seriously. Our "family suite" was large and overlooked a pretty courtyard and shaded pool. Found out from some Krystal old-timers that it used to have the best pool in the area but a huge portion has been chopped off and indeed there is a new Hilton going up in it's spot. Adult pool full of kids despite there being an ample kid pool. 4 jacuzzis not heated. Overloaded with "Nationals" and blatant favortism among all staff. Overall it was clean with pretty grounds, terrible food, Everything that we found out about the resort we had to search for-nothing was forthcoming. Still had a great time as we went for the weather and to spend time with family . Probably would not return to this Krystal.l

The door keys were a joke.. Lost mine twice ... Each time charged $10.00 U.S ... Cannt find anything to drink .. When you do it's over priced... Better beds at motel 6 .. No nite life what so ever...massage is a waste of money....would not stay there again!

My 6th time at this resort. Totally enjoyed the village like setting. Main pool was closed due to down sizing construction. Portion of pool area and one Krystal building was sold off to the Hilton chain. Resort is clean, friendly (as everyone in Puerto Vallarta) and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

When I booked the vacation online, I was positive that I had an all inclusive package and I had double checked before paying with my credit card. However when the 7 of us checked in it was noted by the check in staff that we were only paid for the hotel reservation and not the all inclusive package. There was an additional $70.00usd per person/per day charge for the all inclusive package which covered the meals and beverages. We were very surprised when we found this out and very unhappy to say the least. I would never stay at this resort again. I will go out of my way to make sure everyone I talk to never stays at this resort if going to Puerto Vallarta. This is the second time I have stayed at this resort, the first being three years ago. The first time the condo being built very close to the pool and restaurant was about 70% complete. In three years almost nothing had been done to the condo, but the construction workers were working on it during our stay and there was alot of construction noise right outside my room and by the pool. There is only one restaurant open almost all the time. The one a la carte was not open very often, which was a sushi open air restaurant by the quiet pool. One day the mens rest room by the quiet pool was totally infested with cockroaches as the staff had done some plumbing repairs under the sinks. there were at least 50 to 60 cockroaches in the small restroom. It was very uncomfortable to go in to that restroom even after the staff had it cleaned out which was about 3 hours later. However the staff was excellent and the rooms we stayed in were clean and acceptable although there were a few cold showers during the week of our stay.

Presently and for the past few years there has been construction which is pretty much fine. Portion of property was now sold to Hilton so there was renovation of the pool area and the restarant on the beach was moved to lobby area. They built a new pool (family pool) and have an adult pool which was where the old pool was which they opened up on this past monday which was after we left. I wish Ihad been aware that the pool area was under construction so I could have scheduled my vacation a week later when it was opened up and the restaurant by the pool was open. There are new owners. I think when the renovation is complete it will be an excellant resort again.

The access to a quiet beach was ideal. That was my favorite part overall. The swimming pools and the front desk lobby were very attractive. I also loved that they always had a taxi ready for you and that there is a mini mall and supermarket within walking distance. It's about a 50 pesos cab ride to the city center and 80 pesos to the airport. Both a straight shot so location is pretty good. The concierge could be a little more informative though. It was difficult to get readily available information without having to ask a thousand questions first. Also, the overall look of the outside walls and balconys could use a little touch up. But all in all a nice stay. Felt like a secure area and was generally comfortable.

The website and real life are miles apart. There was no main pool and the small pools left much to be desired. The restaurant choices were limited at the resort and the food was just fair. Because of the construction everything was a buffet. The waitstaff were the best part of the stay. They did what they could to keep us happy under the circumstances.

The hotel was under construction when we stayed there, so overall quality of experience was just okay. Food was mediocre and accommodations were satisfactory. Would not stay there again unless major improvements were done re: renovations and beach accommodations.

My family and me enjoyed a lot the facilities of the Hotel, in general the Hotel is very clean; the size of the rooms are adequate (not so small); food on the buffet is complete; and is nice to have many swimming pools (with warm temperature) for children. I think you have a big opportunity on the Font Desk, because people on charge is not well organized and is not kindly; they speak a lot between them and they forget a little the people that is waiting for check in or check out; that experience was not nice.
