Location
Koreana Hotel is situated in the heart of downtown Seoul, close to Seoul Museum of Art. Holidaymakers watch games at Jamsil Baseball Stadium or visit the impressive royal palaces of Deoksugung, Changgyeonggung, Gyeonghuigung, Changdeokgung and Gyeongbokgung.
Rooms
All of the tastefully decorated rooms and suites are outfitted with colour TV, refrigerator, tea-/coffee-making facilities, hairdryer and private bathroom. Some units have Internet access or safe deposit box.
Restaurant
Diners at Hotel Koreana feast on sumptuous Asian delights and Western favourites at the several in-house restaurants. Have cakes at Peltier and cap off the day with drinks and music at the Blue Room on site.
General
Koreana Hotel Seoul provides a business centre, barber shop and six conference/banquet facilities that can host business or social functions for up to 210 people. At the hotel, patrons relax in the sauna and work out at the fitness centre (for men only).

The Lobby is small and it is at the second floor. Nowhere to rest or talk at the lobby.

The Koreana is in the middle of the action! It's also on the airline limousine route. Hop on, hop off bus nearby - shops and restaurants also. Our room on the executive floor was fine, with all the amenities expected (the free LAN internet connection didn't work). Hotel staff very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant was OK, without being exceptional. Overall, a good honest, reliable hotel.

Location is very good for both business and leisure. Though the price is a bit steep and should provide complimentary breakfast. Many nearby eateries available at reasonable prices. Our visit happens to coincide with the lantern festival display which is very near to the hotel. The availability of the KAL bus from and to airport is another plus point for selecting this hotel.

Excellent/central location for airport transfers (Airport Limosine-the public bus to Seoul and the KAL 1 Bus), the Seoul City Tour Bus easy walking distance for Deoksugung Palace (ie Changing of Guards) and Lotte Hotel for booking Panmunjom/DMZ tours.

I stayed at the Koreana Hotel in Seoul and it was fantastic. Close to all the tourist attractions and the train station. Staff were very helpful and made the stay pleasant. When I arrived early there were no rooms available but they could see I was very tired and they went out of their way to get me a room. When my computer did not work with the internet connection they gave me complementary use of the business centre. I would definitely use this hotel again and recommend it to friends.
