Kingsway Hall Hotel London

Super Hotel - Staff faultless, couldn't do enough for you, friendly and helpful - Lovely clean rooms - Warm or Cool, either, at the touch of a button - Nice bar area also. Great Location - Holborn Tube Station yards away - Covent Garden minutes away - and super pubs, wine bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Can't fault it and will stay here again.

Brilliant. Beds large. Lovely steam room and jacuzzi. Staff fabulous. Problem one night with noisy pipes, hotel sorted straight away next morning. Breakfast good. Fabulous location, central to everything. 5 mins walk to Covent garden. Can walk to a lot of theatres or only one or two tube stops away. Tea and coffee in room, but no biscuits lol

No complaints at all. You can walk into the West End in 10 - 15 minutes. Holborn tube is 3 minutes away. Charing Cross station is 10 minutes away. Shops, pubs, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, in fact everything, is within walking distance. If the cost to stay is not an issue, (£175 per night for a double room) this is an ideal base for all of London. We will definately use this hotel again.

I was impressed by the room size and comfort. The bathroom was particularly nice. A lot of London hotels have very small double rooms. The only minus point was no biscuits on the tea tray. The continental breakfast was only average - there wasn't much choice of fruit. All London hotels are expensive and this one is no exception even with the more reasonable room rate that I got.

Great hotel find. Used the hotel for a "tourist" visit to London. Room and staff were lovely. Not far from tube and can be walked from city center. Will stay here again without a doubt. Bit slow on some cooked items at breakfast not being available and then automatically adding a tip on the bill.

It didn't start well when we were told our booking had been cancelled! I argued strongly that it hadn't and that my credit card had been charged in full. A telephone call later and we were allocated a room. The ensuing paperwork showed it as a standard Queen when I had booked and paid for a superior King. We were then given the King. Like a previous reviewer we could not get the water temperature higher than lukewarm but as it was a boiling hot day, it wasn't too much of a problem. The room was OK, air con worked well and the bathroom was spacious. The room was quiet as it was at the rear but consequently the view was horrid. In fact it wasn't a view, it was a scene of squalor. The bed needed a new mattress and I have slept much better in a Premier Inn. At check out I had to point out that we had not even touched a small bottle of champagne they were charging us for let alone drunk it. They knocked it off the bill. Location superb. EverythIng else pretty average.

Stayed here recently. It's a fairly middle of the road hotel. Nothing to shout about, but nothing specific that irritated me either. It just feels a little tired.

This was a wonderful surprise. For London this was an exceptional hotel for the price. Everyone was helpful, breakfast was very good, restaurants close by, tube station was within 5 minutes walking. Close enough to walk to Covent Gardens and theater district if desired. I have stayed in London many times but at different locations and hotels.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, with friendly staff and a great breakfast. The location is superb and you can easily access all London sights from here. I have stayed in this hotel, as well as many others, several times and would always return.
