We had lovely service at the hotel, but were disappointed with the restaurant. We really felt it was geared towards tours and they really encouraged us to have buffet. When we asked to see the a la carte menu, they said it was for being printed and we were given high prices (8 pounds for a beer!). Eventually we saw someone ordering room service and we opted for that, but the food was cold and soggy. For breakfast, we had cold leftovers of what was left from the tours. We complained and were given omlettes, which did make up for it somewhat. Other than the restaurant, we really enjoyed the hotel and were updated to a suite when we arrived. The staff were really friendly and helpful

The breakfast was truly appalling - the worst I have seen, accompanied by indifferent service. This said, the room was clean and adequate for a 1 night stopover in Petra - which the management clearly know as there seems little concern with attracting repeat business. Decent value however.

Swimmingpool only to reach via carpark and no toilets/showers. Internet very slow and expensive

Cleanliness and maintenance were poor. The pool area was littered and the pool itself very dirty and not fit to swim in. Overall the Kingsway Petra did not live up to its billing.

The Kingsway Petra has the potential to be a nice hotel however cleanliness does not seem ot be a priority. One day our room was not cleaned at all. As with many hotels in Jordan it is overpriced.
