A very nice hotel, although rather basic for the Shangri-La chain''s standards (the lobby is almost barren.) Rooms are nice, well lit and extremely clean. The restaurant has a very nice buffet for both breakfast and lunch and the staff there is quite attentive. When one person in our party ordered a meal off the menu while the rest had the buffet, the staff quickly made a plate from the buffet for her so that she would not sit without food until her meal came. A very nice touch. The staff at the concierge desk did not speak particularly good English, but were very happy to try and assist as much as they could. Only problem was every night the electronic room lock would not accept the plastic key. I had to call the front desk every time for assistance, although they were very fast to respond and apologetic about the problem.
