Kensington House Hotel London

Beautiful hotel right across from Kensington Gardens and a short walk from prime shopping destinations such as Harrods and Harvey Nicks. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The hotel was a lovely boutique hotel however the rooms were tiny! There was not enough room for our suitcases and us to move around. We didnt spend alot of time in the room which is lucky but if we did we would have been a bit disappointed given how much we spent.

This is a lovely little hotel in the most terrific spot. Close to the park, transport and an easy walk to shops. The staff are very helpful and courteous and can provide you with tourist information if you ask. We stayed in a nice double room, which was bright and airy. The bathroom was very clean and included a bath, hairdryer etc. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the room. A generous breakfast was provided downstairs in the morning and included breads, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, juice, tea and coffee. A great hotel for singles and couples, young or old. Would be happy to stay at Kensington House again.

We were initially offered a dark room over the waste bins. We were given another room on request which was fine.

The hotel was immaculately clean and tidy, and very warm. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast we had was good. My only concern was the lift, which was small and a bit temperamental. It stuck once and would often take you to the wrong floor. Apart from that, this is a hotel that I would stay at again.

Located near Kensington Pond, it is very suitable for those who like the parks. I stayed 1 night in a small tidy room for 100pounds, had a robe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. A lot of extra service for $. However, a telephone ring did not work, I have spent extra 14 pounds for a second 3.5min talk to Russia. If I stay longer, I'd prefer a larger room. A good hotel.

This hotel is in a excellent position for most of London. Within walking distance to Harrods and lots of other shops! Hyde Park was only accross the road and the Albert Hall round the corner. The rooms were well equiped and the staff very friendly. The evening meal we had there was excellent, even though they did run out of Cointreau for our Cosmopolitan cocktails. We would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again.

The hotel location is second to none, and it is reasonably priced, but be aware that the rooms are really small. Also the windows are single glazed I found my room quite noisy.

Unlike so many London hotels, this one is clean and comfortable and handy to everything. The staff were helpful and I would stay there again. J. Brandt

It is a nice clean hotel, well refurbished, with very helpful staff but needs a little maintenance despite the general good conditions there are minor thing that change the good impression, such as a broken lighting fixture in the lift, some holes in the carpet, loose bathroom accessories. We enjoyed our breakfast and some late dinners, we liked we could have fresh air as all the windows open, even in the bathroom e.t.c We recommend it. Helena Vrettou Mech.Engineer

Was a nice hotel, tucked away behind the main road. A little noisy but thats to be expected in an area with clubs and bars. Modern and clean facilities. The breakfast was particularly good. Nice surroundings. Would stay there again if in London.

Kensington House Hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and we will be highly recommending it to our friends and family in both Australia and the UK. The manager was brilliant when my mother was not well and allowed her to have a late checkout on the day we were leaving, and all throughout our stay we felt the staff were there to help, yet were not intrusive. The rooms and decor of the whole hotel are warm and cosy - a home away from home!

Single rooms are small but very clean and modern. I'm a fussy customer and (unusually) have no complaints. Handy for High Street Kensington tube station. Also I recommend the Utsav Indian Restaurant around the corner - excellent Indian cuisine. I would stay in this hotel and travel across London daily rather than stay in some of the places more local to where I need to be it's good!
