Kempinski Vier Jahreszeiten Hotel Munich Guest Reviews (8)
The hotel was in an excellent location, 5 - 10 minute walking distance to shops, restaurants, museums, metro/train. We had 2 rooms for our family of 5. Initially we had a problem with one room; there was a horrible banging noise that started up hours later. They kindly moved us to another room that was "no smoking"; however, it was a "smoking" room 6 months earlier and the rugs/bedspreads still reeked of smoke. They kindly changed our room again and it was fine. The staff was efficient and friendly. We went out for coffee/breakfast every morning because we did think the food at the hotel was expensive. I guess we are spoiled Americans and like having a coffee machine in our rooms but there was none and the coffee in the lobby was expensive (plenty of coffee shops). And breakfast was not included. Despite that we would still highly recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel, but to pay for Internet at a 5-star hotel in 2008 is not a good thing.

This was one of the best hotels I have spent time in - and I have been in some of the best in four continents. The location is superb, as is the service.

Very nice old world hotel atmosphere situated close to many "must see" Munich attractions.
