Was probably 5 star in 1920's. Rather faded at present. Excellent location. Restaurant very good, and not too pricey.

Point 1. We were recommended to the Kempinski by our travel agent. We were not expecting the Bristol to be a "five star" hotel however,we entered our room and noticed that the roof was leaking directly under the air conditioning duct in the hall way - We managed through one night and the next day advised the reception desk. Nothing was done. After sightseeing all day we came back to the room -ceiling was still leaking and carpet was wet. My husband touched the ceiling panel and water gushed out. Point 2 We travel considerable flight hours from Australia and have been frustrated by the lack of room amenities such as tea/coffee making facilities and iron and ironing board. We travel widely throughout Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the USA and these conveniences are standard in every hotel room. Staff were very friendly. Absence of management.

Very convenient location, friendly and helpful staff. Standard room is too small for three adults. We were given superior room without extra charge. Rooms are average of this class hotel. Nothing to complaint as it should not be when you are staying Kempinski.

Excellent historic hotel in a perfect location at a very good price, with a warm spa... What else?

Room internet and breakfast were not included and turned out to be horribly expensive. One breakfast and 24 hr internet access cost almost as much as a nights stay in the room, which was clean and quiet. Excellent staff.

The rooms were very small and no in room coffee maker supplied. Breakfasts were excellent sparkling wine and just about everything you could want.

Pitty that the swimmingpool was closed during our stay in hotel. Otherwise the location of the hotel is OK.

This hotel relies on it's name more than on what it currently offers. Past glory. My room was in dire need of a renovation and was quite small.

Everything was good, however, like most other things in Berlin, the standard of rooms and other facilities were at least 10 years old. The economic times begins to show.

Although in the very begining they couldn't find the booking or the booking was not in their system, I had no problem at all (this was my very first time to book a hotel via internet and I was very anxious) and they have upgraded my reservation to a better quality room. I am very grateful to this hotel for improving the quality of my stay in Berlin.

This was our first time in Berlin. Kempinski Bristol Hotel was a good choice for us. We particularly appreciated the breakfast buffet and the service of the staff.

This hotel is perfectly located close to the train station particularly if you are travelling from the Schoenefeld Airport. It is very close to the main shopping area of Berlin. The staff were very helpful in providing information on where to go and how as well as suggestions towards finding nice places to eat.
