Keauhou Beach Resort Hawaii Guest Reviews
Although on the first day we arrived, the internet in our room can not work, the bath blacked, but the staffs are very nice to help us fix them in a short time. The breakfast there is fantastic, and the view is beautiful, not so far to all the activities.

Location of this hotel is one of the best but the hotel shows its age. Staff is helpful and courteous.

We had stayed here about 4 years ago and that experience was better than this time. The staff were much happier and pleasant on the 1st trip. Staff reductions have taken a toll on the atmosphere as well as the level of service. While resort folks were responsive, they were not as outgoing as 4 years ago. The included breakfasts are OK but again not like they were in the past. The pool was cold enough that my avid swimmer wife only swam once. The rooms were the same as before but we did miss a bathtub in ours. The cleaning staff and concierges were great! The front desk folks were so-so. The snorkeling at the adjacent beach was spectacular and the water warmer than the pool. The resort's beach side grill was shut down, which was a shame. There was some mention of it being put back into operation. The tide pool restaurant food was very good. I'd rate this resort a strong 3. It is a great place to just relax in the tropical breezes. We'd probably stay here if we visit the big island again.

Our stay was fantastic. The view was outstanding. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast buffet is exceptional. There are cultural activities everyday and an island orientation that is very informative for the new visitor to the island. The staff were all helpful and pleasant. The location is south of Kona town, out of the town congestion, yet close enough to access easily when needed. A shopping center is just a few blocks away. The snorkel beach next store is a plus. The grounds at this resort are beautiful. The place has a private feel to it even though it is big. I will definitely return to this resort and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Big Island. It is very reasonably priced for everything they offer. An A+ in my book.

You can't beat the location: right at the best snorkelling place on the Big Island. The included breakfast is good, and has lots of choice of hot and cold items. There is a gym if you're inclined that way. Our room has always been clean and comfortable. The internet works fine (wired only in the room, wireless in the lobby area). We've been back a few times now. We'll go back some more. My one complaint is the parking. There is not enough of it when events are held at the hotel. I don't like paying extra for parking in any case, but to have to pay and then be forced to park in an unlit lot across the street (that the hotel appears to lease) seems a bit over the top.
