Beautiful location, very clean, super friendly and helpful staff, and THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. the amenities eg pub, coffee shop, noodle bar, smart up market restaurant, and the water taxi to Queenstown were all great. Definitely be staying again.

Modern hotel, tasteful decor, comfortable rooms, quality toiletries and all the facilities of the Hilton to enjoy. Delightful location close to airport and Remarkables Mall. Only drawback would be that a vehicle is required for ease of access to Queenstown CBD. Water taxi or hotel shuttle are available but some planning required. Great walking/cycling track along lakefront and indoor pool. The standard of accommodation exceeded expectations for the tarrif. A most pleasant stay.

This was the best holiday centre ever for us. Courtesy, facilities, value, location, relaxation. It does not come better. A hicup with a dining reservation was attended to which made a special occassion for us even more special. Just an amazing place which we can wait to go back to.. A magnificient 6 hour wine tour in a fun 1955 Citreon car arranged by the on site experience travel desk was an absolute high light. Thanks to all the people at both the hotels.

When we arrived at the hotel the winding driveway seemed a bit daunting but we soon overcame our initial concerns. The room itself was just ideal for the two of us with the separate bedroom and kitchenette and had a great view of the mountains from our window. The balcony was unusable because of' it's size and never used by us. The bar and restaurants were handy and we made full use of them. The hotel was a little isolated which meant it there was very little noise and traffic while we were there and the town itself was a pleasant water taxi ride there and back. All in all we had a pleasant stay.

The concept of outstanding design and position has been a total success. The staff were extremely friendly and professional which is really unusual in tourist areas that experience high staff turnover. The room decor is top 5 star with amazing vitality; you really feel special. Room was not big but with good design it didn't worked well. Extremely quiet with a 5 min ride water taxi to Queenstown and a new shopping centre 5 mins drive. No, I don't have shares in Hilton but will definitely stay there when next in Queenstown.

My husband and I stayed at the Kawarau hotel sunday 18th for a birthday celebration. We were most impressed with the quality of the room, location, friendly helpful staff and beautiful surroundings. So much so we have rebooked for our wedding anniversary in February. We wish this establishment every success.
