Kawarau Hotel is situated in the heart of Kawarau Village in Queenstown and is only three kilometres away from the airport. From the hotel, vacationers can easily reach Queenstown Gardens or tee off at Queenstown Golf Course.

The concept of outstanding design and position has been a total success. The staff were extremely friendly and professional which is really unusual in tourist areas that experience high staff turnover. The room decor is top 5 star with amazing vitality; you really feel special. Room was not big but with good design it didn't worked well. Extremely quiet with a 5 min ride water taxi to Queenstown and a new shopping centre 5 mins drive. No, I don't have shares in Hilton but will definitely stay there when next in Queenstown.

My husband and I stayed at the Kawarau hotel sunday 18th for a birthday celebration. We were most impressed with the quality of the room, location, friendly helpful staff and beautiful surroundings. So much so we have rebooked for our wedding anniversary in February. We wish this establishment every success.
