This is a lovely hotel and situated on Kamala Beach. If you ike a quiet resort Kamala is perfect. The hotel has 4 adult pools, the grounds and pools are well maintained. The entertainment i non existent and the bars close at 11pm. Patong is only 15mins away in a Tuk Tuk if you like a busier resort. There are alot of little restraunts and bars surrounding the hotel if you like to get out to eat, its also better value. We found the food excellent, especially Kamala Dreams. We ate once in the hotel restraunt and to be honest we weren't impressed, we also spoke to a few other couples who didn't like the food. I didn't like the idea that if you want clean linen on your bed you have to strip it yourself. Money also went missing from my bag twice, my own fault I suppose for leaving the bag in the wardrobe? I had only left the room for 2 hours when the theft took place. I have travelled all over the world this is the first time we have been a victicm of theft. Alcohol is also expensive in the hotel, cheaper to go out. Overall I would recommend the hotel, but be careful with your valuables.

not recommended for the price my experience was very poor (no electricity for 2 nights, staff not even bothered and no refund or compensation) +had a room on top of a cheap karaoke type evening show. but even though 1)room is large but seems was furnished 40 years ago 2)cheap,cehap,cehap basic bathroom 3)staff at reception hardly speak ebglish,if you call, very likely to be ringing busy 4)views from room on swimming pool at night are nice not what i would recommend for a nice puhke holiday...

Hotel itself is huge with many pools. Room was clean and spacious. Just a bit irritated by the internet access as the wifi in the room costs extra, whereas wifi in the lobby was free of charge. But somehow I was told wifi at lobby was broken due to problems with ISP. But ironically the chargeable internet terminals were working.......so it's not convenient to use internet there.

If you are looking for a nice hotel where you can sit back and relax, I would recommend this hotel. The service was great, the pools were very clean, and the food was tasty. Make sure you check out the sunset from the hotel bar!

great location right on the beach. Hotel has good clen pools and good qaulity of food, staff are helpful and the whole hotel is relaxed and laid back. It is a 2min stroll to the Kamala's main strip which has many restaurants, bars etc etc... Kamala is a lovely area with a multi national family feel. Also on 300bt to Patong if you want a more lively night out!!!

The location is only suitable for people who want a REAL quiet place. Patong is a better place. The hotel doesn't have room service or service 24hours. Room is quite small and privacy is quite low. Staff can barely speak english. There is almost no facilities except the swimming pool. Cleanliness is of average but price is too high for such standard.

The cleanliness of the hotel was good apart from the main lobby which had a foul smell. Good location as the hotel was right on the beach & there were bars & restaurants nearby. The pool bar is fantastic. Even though they could do with new ironing facilities.

We. my wife and me, were very saticfied with the hotel and the good service we got from the hotel staff. This was the first trip for us too Thailand, and hopefully not the last. When, and if we come back to Thailand, we will for sure try to get back to Kamala Beach Hotel and Resort. It was a nice quiet place for relaxsation, and nearest town(Patong) were only 15 min. away in a Tuk-Tuk. Fantastic place and very nice people everywhere.

Stayed there for 4 nights, best feature is that the hotel is located right on the beach, restaurant too. Current is too strong for swimming, but there's 2 big swimming pools. Service is friendly, if there's more facilities introduce to the hotel, it would be a plus. If you want to stay away from the madness of Patong, yet still want a 7-11, restaurants, massages round the corner while you frolick in the waves, this hotel has what you are looking for.

Excellent location, right on the beach front. Bit too crowded on the beach right outside the hotel, but if you walk further along plenty of space to enjoy the sun, sea & sand. Plenty of beach shacks set up by the local people offering from internet access to tailor shops, hairdressing salons, money exchange, and excellent value for money restaurants. Recommended for families to enjoy an inexpensive stay. On the down side this is quite a large value for money hotel, so the breakfast area gets a bit too crowded. The hotel service doesn''t have the personal touches or luxuries, but is just adequate.

The best thing is that you get good value for money, breakfast is very mediocre (e.g. no real fruitjuices, but such made from instant powder, no cold cuts, but an extra cook for eggdishes wich is a pluspoint). The very best thing about the hotel it is beautifully situated right in the middle of the beach - infrastructure just around the corner.

A most excellent hotel in every way. 1st class service from the moment we arrived. Rooms were very clean and with all the ammenities and the hotel itself spotless. It has 2 pools which were both very large. The food and the drink in the hotel was very reasonably priced and most excellent. The staff were very friendly and serviced to every need. They had an instore trip person who charged the same as on the street, no commission involved. Would visit again.
