Jw Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa Guest Reviews
Just about everything is overpriced in Hawaii, including this hotel. The room was very nice and so was the beach. Everything else, however, was either astronomically priced and below par. Paying 12 bucks for the internet per day, 30 something for parking was insulting. The drinks at the outdoor bar sucked (13 bucks), the few meals we had at the hotel were well below average. There was no service at the pool. Often our room was only partially cleaned sometimes. Interesting business model, just take the money.... If I were someone reading this, I would opt for somewhere else on the green side of the island. If you dont care about bleeding money, stay here, but dont eat at any of the hotels.

Great location, no crowds to deal with. Room very spacious with a large bathroom. Lagoon was great, easily to find a spot and enjoy the ocean.

On the 5th night of a 6 night stay. The hotel had us listed as checked out. The hotel didn't want to confirm reservation with Orbitz and wanted to charge me for our rooms at current rate. They said I would have to pay them and me work it out with Orbitz. After being very firm with them about the reservation and having proof, they finally confirmed with Orbitz. Then they tried to charge parking fees for both rooms. They charge $35.00 per night to park your car. No other parking optoions. If you stay here make sure you check your sign in paper work very carefully and if you have more than 2 rooms make them aware that you only have 1 car. But it was a very nice hotel and pricey.

Positives: Fine location, fine grounds and setting Negatives: Long line at checkin, housekeeping a problem, not a great place for snorkeling, the Disney resort next door can be noisly. Watch out for the timeshare sales pressure you will encounter. Avoid the Hawaiian Barbeque place across the street. .Keep an eye out for meal specials at the restaurants.

Nice hotel. Don't know how noisey it's going to be once the Disney Hotel next door opens. And the traffic into the hotel itself will be a nightmare. Breakfast was good and my room was nice and clean. Closing all the shutters and lights switches which are on a wall at night is very annoying and I had one bed against the closet door so it was hard to get into the closet. Should have been only a king bed in there.
