Clean, friendly and very cosy place. The first hotel i have been to where you actually want to hang out in the loby. They forgot to mention that the breakfast is not included but cost an extra 18 dollars if you have booked the room online. Next time i will eat at a cafe in the area around although i must say it was a good breakfast.

Staff are very welcoming and attentive at all times. Comfy bed, good shower, and attractive decor in room. Lovely homely feel as soon as you enter hotel with candles flickering constantly. Complementary wine, cheese and nibbles every evening 6 - 7pm. On the whole we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Location perfect for buses, trains, eating, sight seeing. Thank you!

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for college visits. The people there could not have been nicer and helped us out with everything we needed/wanted. Gave us advice for sight seeing etc.... Loved the complimentary hot drinks available at any time during the day, which we definitely took advantage of. The beds were really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Although the room is small, it is really cozy. The staff are very responsive to any request and very helpful.

Nice, quiet location northwest of Dupont circle. Near a number of places to eat; a fair walk to the Metro. For our purposes, the location was great, but its a fair distance to the White House and Mall area. Good staff. There's a continential breakfast, which isn't cheap but it includes cereals, fresh fruit, bagels, breads, juices, fresh coffee machine, and lots of smoked salmon! Pleasant back and front outdoor areas. Nice neighborhood for a stroll as well, with interesting architecture. We were at a conference; the Normandy was nearby and a nice getaway without the conference crowd and noise. We did have what seemed like a smaller room, and besides the closet, it didn't have room to store clothing. Coffee maker, iron and board in room. Automatic, movement detecting bathroom nightlight was a nice, small touch. Had off street parking.
