I was over for a Newcastle United game and decided to give Jury's a go. Having been to Newcastle several times in the last 6 months, I found this to be the best hotel I've had the pleasure of staying at. Friendly and helpful staff really welcomed me. Room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. The only problem I had was trying to locate the hotel. A few signposts around the town would have made findingthe hotel a bit easier but I got there in the end. Highly recommended.

We've stayed here a couple of times now and it is simply a stag and hen weekend venue from our experience. Didn't get a wink of sleep and when reporting noise to reception, it was as if we were making something out of nothing. Unless you're wanting to live it up ALL night, avoid Fridays and Saturdays!

Ok business hotel. Not bad, but nothing special either. Very close walk to rail station and main shopping area a big plus.

We loved this hotel. Staff and service excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was gorgeous. Lovely ambience and fantastic location. Only sorry we couldn't stay longer. Will definitely go back again.

Very pleasant hotel. Easy walk to Quayside, though some roadworks to negotiate on foot at time of writing. It really is one of the best located hotels in the city. Price includes B&B which really sets you up for the day. There will always be stag / hen parties at this hotel but they are really no bother and a small price to pay for the trade off in location. You have to park in the Times Square mutli-storey opposite which is 24/7 and will cost you £8.00 at time of writing (Sep 07).

although popular with hen nights and stag parties in this party capital, reception offered quiet rooms away from them, never heard a thing. Very pleased.

Well located with easy access to the centre of Newcastle. Comfortable rooms although soundproofing betweeen rooms that were connected could be better. Buffet breakfast good value and kept fresh. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. I would certainly use this hotel again.

A brief stay however made very welcome even though arrived late. We would recommend it to others for efficiency, location and cleanliness plus value for money.

Only one issue - the building is horseshoe shaped with the main entrance at the innermost point. This traps noise from taxis etc and the windows do not block it out.
