Jurys Inn Glasgow
3 out of 5

For short stays, this is about right. I was only overnighting and used none of the other facilities. A bit irritating that they charge for wi fi however. Not necessary in this day and age.

Hotel was amazing.staff very friendly and helpful. The only issue i had was upon checking in, the hotel had no record of my reservation in the computer, luckily i had printed off the confirmation sent by yourselves. The receptionist Lindsey was very apologetic and helpful, but this was not her fault.Im unsure as to why my booking was not on their system, or whose fault it is, butt did mar my stay a little.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful In thought that the cost was on the high side as it did not include breakfast

Very good location for shopping, about ten minute walk from Queen St. station. We chose the hotel for access to O2 Academy concert venue. It was only a ten minute walk as well. Plenty of eateries/pubs nearby.

Very professional but friendly staff at check-in and in the bar/restaurant. Spacious, modern and clean rooms. Convenient for station and underground (St Enochs). Reasonable bar prices.

The location of the hotel was very good, near Glasgow Central station and a few minutes walk to all the shopping streets. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was ordinary. The room was very clean but only a budget type. For example there was no soap provided, no face flannel, no shampoo and thread bare towells. Therefore the tarriff was about 20% too high in comparison with other UK hotels.

This hotel is in an excellent location. It is right by one of the main shopping areas, beside the railway station, the tube, and has a taxi rank within a 1 minute walk. I managed to get a very good price on a 3 night deal - but would struggle to pay the full rack rate. The service is excellent, and the breakfast is one of the best I've had. I highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely use it again (if the price is right!)

Location excellent for all shops, our room & others quite noisy due to proximity to station, not enough to spoil our break but may not suit all

Though nothing very "fancy", this hotel still feels fresh and new (in autumn 2005), is very conveniently situated and has very helpful staff. I can vouch that the room walls are not thick enough to give much protection from a Saturday-night sorority party next door, but I guess that might be true anywhere! The Hoteclub deal made the stay good value, the included breakfast being "perfectly acceptable", if not quite sumptious. I would (will) definitely stay again.

I like the hotel especially it is strategically located near the central station where there is an efficient realway transportation system.

Friendly staff in a very centrally located hotel. The view of the Clyde was unexpectedly good. The late bar is an added attraction.

Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and capable, they really made us feel welcome. This was only true to a limited extent to bar staff. The rooms were nice, clean and quite spacious (especially compared to London or Paris hotels in the same category), and the hotel is in a great central location. If I ever return to Glasgow, I would not think twice about staying there again. Overall, good value for money and absolutely positive experience!

It was pleasing to arrive at this clean and friendly hotel after coming into Glasgow on a rainy day. It is conveniently located close to downtown and we could see the Clyde from our window.
