Staff very helpful and friendly. My only negative point was that we had a 40 degree temperate day and the airconditioning wasn't working properly because of the high usage by patrons. Also the TV reception wasn't great in our room so it was a bit hard to see the ball when we were watching the tennis. They had a great TV in reception just a pity we couldn't watch it there.

Air con did not work on the hottest day of the year. Not a pleasant day.

Location excellent. Staff good and helpfull. Remember no restaurant facilities within hotel, but plenty outside.

the hotel is pretty average. While brightly coloured halways are nice, the rooms are average with black ceilings and black curtins and 70s kitchens. The staff did not know which trams to get on, how much they would be. They also had no knowledge of doctors surgeries. We were also told that at 12pm our room was not ready. We then recieved a phone call at 2pm saying it was. It wasn't and we had to wait another 45 minutes to enter the room. On our first morning they didn't bother cleaning and provided us with minmum towels after we requested them. The second morning they were trying to get in so early to clean.

good location - great for Queen Victoria Markets - great for trams (tram stop outside). Only downside was the beds were hard
