Takamatsu Climate
The months of July and August are the warmest in Takamatsu. As for the winter months of January and February, there are occasional freezing temperatures at night. Average annual rainfall measures in at about 24 in (600 mm). The average temperature for the warmer months of May through October is about 84°F (29°C).
Getting There & Around
Many visitors come into the city through Takamatsu Airport. Travellers coming by train will take the Marine Liner that runs directly from Okayama Station to Takamatsu Station. Trains run daily, twice per hour, and one way trips take about an hour.
Once in the city, walking and cycling are great ways to get around. Since the city is well designed for cycling, visitors will find it easy to explore. Renting bicycles can be done all over the city.
