With natural borders like the Sea of Japan, Japan Alps, Hakusan National Park and Noto Peninsula National Park, Kanazawa is on the doorstep of some of the most spectacular scenery in Japan. Home to venerable history, vital cultural landmarks and a notable ensemble of traditional architecture, Kanazawa is well worth a day or two of holiday time.
