Torino’s nearest airport is its very own international airport, the Caselle International Airport Sandro Pertini. The airport is located approximately 13 km away from downtown. From the airport, it is possible to reach the city centre with the aid of the SADEM regional bus service, which makes the journey to the Porta Nuova train station, or by direct private taxi.
The public transportation system is highly efficient. GTT buses and trams are readily available and cross the city throughout the day until late at night.
