The Riviera’s central node is the extraordinary city of Genoa, which, in of itself, is a travel destination that deserves much more than a cursory tour. Genoa is at the midway point of the Italian Riviera and sets up nicely as a platform for tourists to get out and explore the copious gems that dot the coast.
