The beautiful city on the Adriatic Sea has been a muse and source of inspiration over the years for the likes of Lord Byron, Oscar Wilde and Hermann Hesse. Indeed, with a pristine collection of early Christian monuments, many of which date back to the 5th and 6th century, Ravenna is a de facto UNESCO World Heritage city.
