Volcanic hot springs are far from the only attraction on Ischia however. The majestic Castello Aragonese is the most popular attraction with visitors and looms dramatically from a rocky perch over the water. The Gardens of La Mortella offer tranquil escape and phenomenal views of the town of Forio. Last but not least, the coastline of Ischia contains over a dozen excellent beaches.
