Alghero Climate
The weather in Alghero is pleasant and mild most of the year. In summer, the highest average temperature will approach 30ºC, but winter temperatures rarely average less than 15ºC. In late fall, the town receives over 100 mm of rain in a month.
Getting There & Around
You can fly into the airport aboard a flight from Air One, Ryanair or Alitalia airlines. If you are already on the island of Sardinia, there are a number of buses and trains that will take you to Alghero. From the nearby train station, you simply walk five blocks to the beach and turn onto Via Garibaldi.
Pubic buses operate inside this town and charge inexpensive fares. The bus line named AO runs regularly along the Via Pubblici to the beach, and Cicloexpress rents bikes for around 10 euros a day
