Netanya Hotels

Netanya General Information
Netanya is a breezy, under-the-radar highlight in Israel. The Mediterranean boom town is a city fast on the rise, with hyper-development in place and a metro populace of 185,000 that looks to double over the next decade. A mere 35 km from dynamic Tel Aviv, the cosmopolitan capital of Israel, and 65 km from hip Haifa, Netanya is desirable as a compact coastal city between the two. Home to a few important cultural institutions, good nightlife and perhaps most importantly, 14 km of Mediterranean beach to explore, Netanya is well worth a visit. ... Read more »
While it makes perfect sense to dash off to the beach and stroll up and down the pretty Netanya Promenade, the city has some landmarks of note beyond the seductive waves of the Mediterranean. Some of the most notable include the Beit HaBe'er Netanya History Museum, Beit Theresienstadt Martyrs Rememberance Association and The Well House. Netanya has a plethora of superb annual events to take in as well, from the Orot Habama Festival to the Kosher Food Festival, Muse Festival to the Hassidic Music Experience. Where the city shines of course, is as a delightful beach resort, with a tidy collection of first-rate restaurants, bars and cafés to enjoy.
