Herzliya Hotels

Though a de facto satellite of Tel Aviv, Herzliya proper is home to some 100,000 people. The municipality is a veritable city then, with a lifeblood and vibe notably distinct from Israel’s linchpin metropolis. Herzliya has two sides, with important distinctions for visitors to keep in mind. The main area of the city, set apart from the Mediterranean Sea coast and east of highway lanes and railway lines, is where most residents live, work, play and shop. Of minimal interest to most, this is, nonetheless, the real Herzliya and as such, offers a taste of genuine charm. The enclave of Herzliya that lures the vast majority of domestic and international tourists however, is Herzliya Pituah. The tony, upscale marina resort and business district fronts the Mediterranean and contains a wide variety of shiny office and condo towers, luxury hotels and posh restaurants and clubs. Clearly, for most, this is the place to be in Herzliya and indeed, metro Tel Aviv.
