Beersheba Climate
This Beersheba endures an arid, desert climate that is ameliorated somewhat by the influence of the nearby Mediterranean Sea. Temperatures in June have been known to reach an astounding 46ºC. The yearly rainfall is just over 200 mm, and sandstorms are common events.
Getting There & Around
The nearest airport is located just outside Tel Aviv, but there are many other ways to reach this city. Trains for Beersheba depart from Haifa and other major cities every hour. It is possible to reach the city by car or bus from either Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.
Taxis roam this city and will take you to just about any location. There is also a public bus service which operates form a central station just next to where intercity buses unload passengers. Tours of certain areas will require foot travel.
