Isle Casino Hotel Black Hawk Guest Reviews
the hotel desk lady was very friendly the room was very nice and could tell the bedding was clean the bath was cute the bed was very comfy plush but a good firm the food at tradewinds and the buffet was excellent We had our own heat/ ac controls But the rooms were dark looked like it was missing some lamps the toilet seat was too wide and the bowl too low and the hallway was worn and out dated On that note I would stay there again

The rooms were better than we expected for the price. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.

Overall, we had a good experience. The best thing about our visit was the friendliness of most of the staff. We didn't have a lot of money to spend and Isle of Capri in Blackhawk gave us just what we expected. A bargain night away in a fun destination

While playing black jack I was told I needed to leave because I was too intoxicated. I was no more intoxicated than anyone else there and when I asked what I had done to make them believe I was I was too impaired, I was treated with extreme disrespect and told "I don't owe any explanations." I contacted another security guard who agreed with me completely and even suggested I file a complaint as he could clearly see I was fine. When I contacted the guard who initially asked me to leave he became snide and threatened me. I have never been treated with so much disrespect and the fact that ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR STAFF agreed I was fine was indication I was in the right of mind. I agree I had been drinking and would understand had I been causing disturbances or scenes, however, at the time I was sitting quietly in a chair watching my friends play blackjack. I understand you want to keep the quality of your hotel as best as possible by avoiding the disturbances that can be caused by overly intoxicated people, however, I was doing no such thing and will likely choose a different casino as of now due to not only the irrational decision of the guard, but the complete and utter disrespect he showed me when I simply asked for an example as to what I had done to make him believe I was too intoxicated. His response, "I owe you no explanation now get out of here..." not the type of hospitality one looks for on vacation.

There was a huge gap between the door and the floor so the hall light lit the room alot, had to use a towel to block it out and the bed was too firm. The rest of the trip was a amazing with the wife. The buffet food was overpriced for the food, my wife loved some of what she got. Will come back as we need time together more and would love to get a deal on a room again to afford to come.
