Isis Hotel Luxor Guest Reviews
The cleanliness of the room was pretty bad and the interior old. The bathroom was clean and seemed newer than the interior of the room. Nice lobby, bar and pool-area right at the bank of the Nile. Too bad though that two cruise ships blocked most of the view of the Nile.

Nice well situated hotel alongside the Nile on the east bank. Our room while more than adequte was on the road side and it could be noisy. Get a riverside room if you can. Easy stroll into town.

The hotel is a little far away from center. You need to walk a lot or be ready to fight with taxi or caleche providers.

Starting on a positive note, the hotel management was very helpful and upgraded our room to a Nile View when I realised that they only had twin beds in the standard rooms. I am surprised why a hotel would have a majority of twin rooms. To make a double bed they join two twins together. Many guests were unhappy with this. Rooms are generally clean but hallway carpets are filthy. Standard rooms look out onto the street and at a Mosque. Quite noisy at 5am. Nile rooms are much quieter and very pleasant. Buffet breakfast was good.

The View of the Nile from the terrace is the best feature of this Hotel. The best rooms face the river - if you have a street facing room be prepared for the Muezzin from the mosque across the road.
