Location
The hotel is situated in a quiet spot, right in the centre of Heraklion, very close to the old Venetian harbour and the Ferries port, as well as the archaeological museum of Heraklion, the Morosini fountain and most of the remarkable sights of the town.

Good location,but room(and the entire floor)smelled very bad..could not open closet in room due to odors coming from it.Had to extend stay a second night,hotel would not honor booking rate.However, we moved to upper floor and there was no smell.Would not recommend it for the price.

The place is very dark and the main entrance seems like it's in the back lane. Look dangerous and scary.

I did not actually stay inn the Irini as they had some technical problems. They ordered a taxi fo me, paid for it and booked me into another hotel in town. I can not fault that kind of service... Thank you.

The hotel was well located to the main square. The room was clean with a balcony and continental breakfast adequate. My room faced the street and the noise was excessive, particularly in the early hours of Sunday morning with party-goers heading home. It would be wise to request a room on the other side of the hotel.

I booked this on behalf of my mother and friend who arrived in the middle of the night. They were received well and enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast.
