Tralee Climate
Most of the rainfall in Tralee is in January, February and October through December. Although August is usually the hottest month, the weather can be cool, even during the summer, so dress accordingly.
Getting There & Around
The nearest airport is Kerry Airport, located in Farranfore. Bus service is provided from Cork, Limerick, Dublin, Galway, Dingle and Killarney. Rail service is available from Dublin, Cork and Killarney.
Although public transportation is available in Tralee, the best way to get around is to walk. Most of the attractions, restaurants and bars are within close proximity of one another. Most of the nightlife venues are concentrated within two streets, and you'll experience much more of Tralee when exploring on foot.
