Kenmare Climate

Kenmare experiences a temperate oceanic climate, with temperatures seldom falling lower than -3°C in winter or exceeding 22°C in summer. Due to the mountainous area in which County Kerry resides, Kenmare experiences some of the greatest precipitation levels in the whole of Ireland. Rainfall is more likely to occur during winter months than summer months.
