Location
The Ipanema Plaza Hotel has one of the most prime locations in the entire Ipanema district. It is only one block away from the beach, and many rooms offer fantastic ocean views of the bay.

excellent hotel with modern western five star standard's ;ie airconditioners work properly and only one block back from beach. ipanema seems a world away from the run-down copacabana area hotels

This is an excellent hotel, with decent rooms and efficient staff in a superb location one block from Ipanema Beach

Ipanema Plaza is the place to be. Very good location (20 meter from Ipanema beach), excellent facilities (swimming pool on the roof with nice view), great breakfast, good staff. I am very satisfied and if we go again to Rio, we certainly go back to this very nice hotel.

Frontdesk-service prompt and efficient. Staff of coffeeshop lacks supervision. Breakfast is ok. Hotel is well located in the Ipanema hang-out area and very close to the beach as well. I would say that the hotel is somewhat overpriced. Recommandable however.
