great for a beach vacation - a relaxing winter getaway

Stayed 12 days (A long stay by San Juan tourist standards)! CONS: Great hotel, but rooms need to be updated. Also,charging $14 for WiFi per day, per device is atrocious and we didn't use that. One would think that it would be free, as we paid a' Resort Fee' as well!! Food in the hotel was too expensive, so we ate out all the time. PROS Great on-the-beach location, beautifully lanscaped grounds and 24-hour pools, friendly, helpful staff. The chief concierge, Rafael, is the best!! (And so is Nestor, his assistant). Bus to Old San Juan, just a few steps away (75 cents). And perhaps the most attractive feature of the hotel is the symphony of the numerous Coquoi frogs that inhabit the trees. They can be heard but not seen! Still miss their melodious calls! Would definitely stay there again!

The room was neat and very nice. The beach and pool were beautiful. It was a quick taxi ride to the airport and to Old San Juan. I would happily return here.

We got what we wanted - good food, plenty of beach time, gym, friendly staff and advice on dining in Old San Juan. There were spacious pools and Jacuzzi we didn't use. Prices a little high, but not out of line for location.

We had a pleasant stay. The hotel location was great! A quick walk to the bus station takes you to old San Juan easily. 5-10 minutes walk to the grocery store and many restaurants. Good value for the money!
