InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto
4 out of 5

We stayed twice when we were first married and decided stay for sentimental memories. Value for money should have included breakfast. The balcony doors no longer open possibly for health and safety reasons and the expensive Bose clock radio could not be tuned in. However we thoroughly enjoyed the venue and would recommend for an overnight stay

Stayed for my husbands 40th. The staff were welcoming, and even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne on ice to enjoy. Breakfast was great, pool and spa were good. Had a great stay will definantly return.

Nothing realy wrong with the place, Room could have been cleaned a bit better, grime in places and stains on sheets. Also a propper quilt cover would have been nice rather than the 3 layers of sheets i had to deal with. SImple things you dont expect from this class of hotel. Staff very knowledgeable, and helpfull. Im not one to complain to someones face, so i left it for this review, im sure they would have fixed my concerns if i had voiced them.

Standard room was nice, cosy & comfortable. Reception was great and a free late-check out was appreciated. Breakfast was a bit disorganised & it was hard to find where things were. Had to ask for butter and cuttlery which was unexpected. Gym was fine but pool was too small to swim laps. Overall a comfortable relaxing stay but would have liked a bit more.

Gorgeous place, very beautiful rooms which were so quiet and peaceful. A quick trip to the heart of the city via the circle tram.

Had a great two night stay. Very quiet and comfortable in a lovely queen room. Slightly marred by the false-alarm fire evacuation 8.30am on the first morning! Very cosy room in a beautiful building. Highly recommended.

The room was lovely and 'mostly clean', but there was a soap ring next to the sink which i was willing to overlook as the rest of the bathroom was sparkling. Unfortunately though, bedlthere was a mark on the inen that looked like chocolate (hopefully) which I didn't see until the morning. Getting the room at well under 1/2 price stopped me from complaining as I should have...something I now regret. The hotel is lovely and the food was great, but that cleaner obviously needs dealt with.

The overnight stay was a present to my Daughter and her boyfriend. They had a wonderful time, they especially commented on the facilties and service are being excellent. The pricing through [Website] was really cheap for what was provided. Overall Excellent

Very good hotel. Rooms a little bit too small for me, the beds are very comfortable, but what I really liked was the indoor/outdoor balcony that you get with the Rialto room. This hotel is a 5 min walk to the casino, 5 min walk to the main shopping area of Melbourne. It is also situated near a few strip clubs so I'm not so sure how safe it would be walking back from the casino at 1am. I highly recommended it for a stay in Melbourne

The hotel was great, a bit overpriced though if you were paying retail, I have stayed at nicer hotels which cost the same. The location was great as it's close to all the main attractions and shops of melbourne.... Altogether its about a 4 out of 5 for m, the staff was friendly and helpful as well.
