InterContinental Hotel Singapore

As can be seen by the grading my wife and I have rated this Hotel very highly. very close to the subway system, inexpensive shopping and eateries but also designer clothing and higher rated restuarants. We would certainly recommend it to friends.

An excellent experience, wonderful ambiance, close to everything, most comfortable bed and pillows ever,, delightful staff, delicious afternoon tea served in the colonial style lounge and much more!!. Will definitely stay again!

Stayed the weekend before at the Marina Mandarin which has a distincitvely different feel. This one is more continental/american. The location is good due to the proximity of the MRT (nearly inhouse so to speak). Food is good and plenty around (spoilt for choice), but not much else. The best thing of all is the pillow choice though. Simply amazing. Perfect sleep. Awesome...

Convenient but lacks atmosphere as those with lots of money use executive lounge.

A lovely hotel which lives up to its 5 stars. We stayed in a deluxe room which was clean and spacious - we had a non-smoking room booked and confirmed however on the day they only had a smoking room available which was a bit annoying. Didn't get to eat in the restaurant but it looks amazing and they have an extensive menu. Service was very good and if you want a nice luxury hotel I'd recommend this one.

This Four Seasons is certainly worthy of their "Number 1 in the World, Hotel Chain" status and did nothing but impress my wife and I for the short 2 day stay. It was a bit pricey, but compared to some fo the others in Singapore, was the best deal for the lenght of stay. Definitely no complaints here!

Once again another very pleasant stay at the InterContinental Hotel. They did the 'up-sell' when we checked-in for the Business Package, which included use of their Business Club which served very nice meals throughout the day. The only problem was when we went to breakfast on the second morning there was not enough space and we had to go downstairs to the normal restaurant. Although this was not an issue the Hotel did sell us an 'expectation' which they were unable to fulfil which was unfortunate. That being said, the rest of the stay went without a hitch and we'll definitely be back.

Shop house for noise sensitive people too loud, the windows are not sound proof and the shopping mall is just below even though very nice alternative to a normal hotel room. If they only would have soundproof windows. The new libary will be build in front of the hotel over the next two or three years, be aware of the noise.

Being a first-time visitor to Singapore, I would say that one of my highlights of my tour had been my stay at the Intercontinental. Beautifully furnished with a touch of colonialism. Efficient and professional staff service. A very elegant hotel indeed.

I think they should do something more about the fungus found along the sidewalls of the swimming pool. The lounge adjacent to the check-in counter is very good, I enjoyed having my drinks with friend there.

Hotel is very well situated. This was our fourth stay at this hotel in the past two years. We stayed here because of previous great experiences. Service and staff attutude have declined since our last visit and we will select another hotel on our next visit.

The staff here know that you need something before you do ... yet without being constantly in the way. We only stayed one night but wished it could have been longer

I would DEFINITELY stay at this hotel again. I would not even consider another hotel in Singapore other than the Inter-Continental. Since I was in Singapore attending a convention I had opportunites to visit the other five star hotels near the convention center. Not one of them compared to the quiet elegance and fabulous service provided by the Inter-Continental. The best description I can think of is that at the Inter-Continental I experienced the ambience of Raffles, without the crowds. EVERY person at the Inter-Continental greeted me with a smile, answered my questions or obtained answers for me. There should be a ten star rating for this hotel!!

Location was ideal, close to all areas in the CBD. The variety of food available at breakfast was exceptional - no chance to go hungry. Staff were very pleasant at all times, willing to chat and wish one a pleasant day. The toilet facilities did give us some problems, it took three goes to sort out a blocked toilet.

Room was average, restaurants above average. I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. It is a good value for the money. I particularly like the individual shower and tub bathroom and you usually get the hot water relatively quickly.

The restaurants are very good. They have a very nice ambient seating area which is very conducive to discussing business, etc. The response rate for housekeeping was excellent.
