We only stayed one night but found it to be a good hotel, central located right next to the main railway station and very close to the bus depot. The room key also acts as a local bus pass so there are no extra charges to travel arround the city.. altogether a pleasant stay and I would use this hotel again....

Location was excellent - although next to the train station the room was really quiet and even with the window open, the station could hardly be heard. staff friendly and helpful, all speak English if needed. Breakfast can be obtained in Sophie's Markt (opposite the train station in huge shopping Mall) much more cheaply and is excellent. shopping in town is excellent. Bus and local ferry tickets are given out free of charge for the entirety of your stay by the Hotel so you dont need a car to get around; this is a real bonus saving you at least £100 for a week's stay. English people; there is no facility to make tea; bring tea bags and a travel kettle - there is a fridge in the room to store milk. we would definately stay here again as the location is great and, if you want to spend a littel more, you can get a harbour view where you can see the cruise boats docking and leaving every day.

Nice one night stay & convenient for Oslo ferry.Excellent breakfast. Good recommendation for nearby restaurant for dinner.

This hotel was very good. Very good location for the train and also the city and ferry. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was very good value for money.
